The Gardens at Millearne

Millearne has beautifully landscaped gardens and from the main lawns you can wander through natural woodland lined with aged softly scented rhododendron bushes, leading to a beautiful secluded walled garden with further tended borders of endless flowers, fruit trees and a central pond with aquatic plants and water Lilies.

These gardens were planted many generations ago by various relatives and great aunts. There are trees within Millearne that are 300 years old including a magnificent Lebanese Cedar which stands proudly in front of Millearne in the policy parks, which is over 100 feet tall.

The entrance up to Millearne is laden with Rhododendron bushes, as are the woodland walkways all around the estate, leading up to a sweeping driveway to the house.

The gardens are perfect for outdoor weddings and are beautifully laid out in a mix of manicured lawns and herbaceous borders filled with heady summer blooms and shrubs. Using the framed backdrop of the original stone stable block, and lit up at night, a beautiful magical glow accentuates their beauty.
